"Survival Camp" in January
-15°C, we were very cold! 1800 metres over sea level, we build an igloo with blocks of ice broken off a ledge. We found an old wind sock lost in the mountains and used it. Then we built an avalanche barrier to protect our igloo.
 
We managed to make a fire with dead branches and pine cones; we barbecued marshmallows. It was delicious. The fruit juice had frozen in the bottle so we had nothing to drink!
In the mountains, one dehydrates very quickly, even if it's very cold. It is not a good idea to eat (drink) snow because it gives stomach cramps.


Workshop on the human body
We even extracted our own DNA! We wore face masks because the smell of ethanol was too much to bear. Also, since we are scientists, we use professional equipment.

We also created an imaginary tree representing the various body parts we had just studied. We leave you to guess what everything is!
