Gifted in DIY: Jean-Bé
Can turn an old and rusty lawn-mower into an inter-galactic vessel. Has an infinite stock of apparently useless but yet fantastic junk. Never gets cross if we break something and is always laughing.
Has a superb collection of old swords but never lets us play with them... Can dismantle a telephone and reassemble it with his eyes closed.
 
Gifted in gardening and nature in general: Rose-Ma
Manages to grow things that never grow in any neighbouring garden. Knows all the plants by name, helps us collect seeds to replant them the following year. Lets us eat her apples and her grapes.
Loves taking pictures of the birds who live in her garden. Is always kind.

Gifted in biology: Anaïs
Explains many things we did not understand before. Knows how to clone things but won't show us. Knows that bacteries are so solid and hard that we need a (microscopic) hammer to break them. Understands the mysteries of cells and DNA. Want to work on fundamental research only. Currently studies for her Masters in biology.

Gifted in chemistry: Nico
Is always moving and thinking at the same time. Wants to understand everything about everything. Hardly ever agrees with anyone on anything. Is also a swimming instructor and wood carver with his Swiss knife. Can explain prisms really well. Invents exoskeletons. Takes long rides on his horse in the pampa. Is really good with a Wii. Currently studies for his Masters in Chemistry.


Gifted in hiking and nature: Emma
Takes us to difficult places and always makes us walk. Finds ant-hills and fossils. Can rescue children who fall in mountain rivers in the winter or children who get stuck in wet clay in the summer.
Knows where to find secret mountain lakes to see rare fish. Or where to find dens and marmots.
Always says that "we're nearly there". Can grill marshmallow kebabs and sausages on small wood fires.

Gifted in maths and physics: Jack
Compares maths to a game and to poetry. Doesn't know his multiplication tables. Great poet, writer and philosopher. Wakes up in the night to solve equations. Never managed to wear matching colour socks at the same time. Forgets his keys, his papers, his address, the date, the time and his age. Admires our creativity when we paint his laptop's keyboard. Passionate about fractals. Loves doing useless things. Found a little spare time to get a MSc in physics measurements then, since he was still quite bored, an MSc in Electronics.

Gifted in helping gifted children: Mom
Did not know the first thing about it but built this site on her own. Owns the record of obtaining a 2/20 grade in maths at her baccalaureate (majors: maths and physics). Seems to have a good sense of logic however. Spends her life loving and fighting for her children, reading, writing, inventing recipes, meeting people, talking on the phone and fixing our computer. Constantly learns new things to explain them to us afterwards. Loves finding latin roots to words. Never complains if we damage our clothes or cut our hair ourselves. Great at saying jokes. Hardly ever cleans or tidies the house. Truly understands us if we are sad and miserable. Speaks many languages. Holds a Masters degree in linguistics and terminology.
